Giving of time, talent and financial support
Current and past parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends have given generously of their time and financial resources to support the needs of our amazing school. VMS relies on this ongoing philanthropic support to maintain the excellence of its education. As always, Valley Montessori School's mission is the basis for all of our fundraising efforts.
VMS has two main fundraising events each year
Our Annual Giving Campaign that kicks off in the fall, and the wonderfully entertaining Spring Spectacular - our annual auction - in March. Our next auction event is scheduled for March 22, 2014 - Save the Date!
Year round we rally support for our Tuition Assistance Fund
Established by our Board of Directors in honor of our now retired director, Mary Ellen Kordas, for her 33 years of service to the children and families of Valley Montessori School. For more information or to make a donation. please visit the MEK Tuition Assistance Fund page.
Participation in fundraising is viewed as a critical form of parent involvement
Gifts to VMS directly benefit our students and faculty, improve our facilities, and help us keep tuition lower than it would be otherwise. Everyone is invited to participate however they can - by contributing their talents, time, and resources to help us provide for the children. We are extremely grateful for the generosity of our community.
