About Valley Montessori School
Founded in 1976, Valley Montessori School is located in an idyllic wine-growing valley east of the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2002, VMS moved to our new building nestled on a 6 acre campus designed especially to meet the needs of the children from Toddlers through Middle School. The current enrollment of 485 children is served by a dedicated staff of 75 professionals. Valley Montessori became the first Montessori School in the State of California to receive American Montessori Society accreditation, WASC accreditation, and CAIS provisional accreditation. The school is a nonprofit organization supported by the Board of Trustees and the parent body. Valley Montessori believes in providing an authentic Montessori education that is respectful and supportive of children, families and faculty.

Physical Education Teacher / Athletic Director
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in related field, teaching credential and experience teaching Physical Education to elementary and middle school students. This position requires strong and respectful communication skills and an ability to motivate and lead students in physical fitness and sports programs.
